billing policy
a better billing experience for you
As of April 2019, Mobility Plus Downtown Seattle Chiropractic Care has implemented a new billing policy in order to deliver a more convenient and consistent payment experience to our patients! Now, we will securely save your Visa or MasterCard on file to cover any balance due after your insurance benefits are applied.
This policy will help you to simplify how you pay medical bills - Plus, it's completely secure, so you never have to worry about your personal information being viewed or stolen by others. Now, paying your healthcare bills is a convenient experience, just like paying for a hotel visit or a subscription streaming service!
Here's how it works:

If you have any questions or concerns, please check out FAQs below to see if we've already answered it! If you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our billing department. They can be reached by email at billing@mobilityplussportsrehab.com or by phone at 253-433-9102.
Why do I have to leave my card on file? I've always paid my bills on time.
Due to the number of high deductible health plans and higher patient co-insurance benefits, this has become necessary at our organization. We also want to be fair and consistent to our patients, we are implementing the new policy with a comprehensive approach and we want all of our patients to benefit from this new policy!
How much are you going to charge my card? What if I want to pay with my HSA/FSA?
We will run your card every Wednesday. We will charge the amount that your health plan determines is your responsibility.
If you have an HSA or FSA card, please provide us with this information in addition to a personal card.
Will you send me a bill to let me know what I owe?
You are able to track your balances due via Patient Ally, our patient health portal! If you aren't already enrolled in Patient Ally, let us know and we'll send you an enrollment link.
What is a deductible? How does it affect me?
First, contact your health plan to determine if you have a deductible and the exact amount of the deductible.
An annual deductible is the dollar amount you must pay out of pocket during the year for medical expenses before your health plan begins paying. For example, if your health plan has a $500 deductible, you must pay the first $500 of medical expenses before your health plan begins to pay for any services.
Your deductible begins annually at the start of your health plan year. Health plans can start on any date, typically they begin with the calendar year. Most of Amazon's plans begin on April 1st.
You may find out when your deductible has been met by calling your health plan at any time. Some health plans enable patients to view this information online.
What happens if I need to dispute my bill?
We will only charge you the amount determined by your health plan. However, we will work with you if there has been a mistake on your bill, and refund you the necessary amount to correct any error.
I do not have a deductible so I will never owe you anything. Do I still need to give you a card?
Due to the complexity of health plans, patients are not always aware of a payment responsibility. Additionally, changes to health plans happen often, which can make you responsible for payments without your knowledge. So we ask all patients to save a card on file to ensure we are prepared in the even they do have a payment responsibility.
